Why companies call us

As a company grows, the way it runs stops keeping up. Decisions still route through the owner, the process lives in a few people's heads, and nobody has time to fix any of it. We take that on.

01Services

Five areas of work for growing companies.

Most clients come to us with one problem and find two more behind it. These are the areas where we spend our time.

01

Business consulting

We look at how your business runs, where it stalls, and what to change first. The result is a written plan with owners and dates, covering strategy, operations, pricing, and hiring.

  • Growth planning

Records, filings, vendor and contract tracking, calendars, and the recurring tasks that take up a founder's week. Completed on schedule and filed where you can find them.

  • Records
  • Vendors and contracts
  • Compliance calendar
  • Executive support
03

Fractional CXO

A COO, CEO, or CFO for the days you need one. You get the seat at the table and the accountability, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire.

02Business consulting

What business consulting covers.

Every engagement starts with the problem you actually have. These are the areas it usually touches.

Strategy and planning

Where the company is headed, what it will take to get there, and what to do first. Written down, with owners and dates.

Operations and process

How work moves through the business. We map it, find the bottlenecks, and rebuild the parts that slow people down.

Growth and pricing

Which customers and services are worth more of, and what to charge for them.

Organization and hiring

Roles, reporting lines, and who to hire next, so the company stops depending on one person.

Tools and workflows

The software and routines your team uses every day, picked to fit how you actually work.

Business plans

A plan for a lender, a partner, or your own direction, built from how the business really operates.

03Fractional CXO

Executive experience by the day, not the year.

Many companies need senior leadership long before they have a full week of work for it. We take a seat part time. We join your leadership meetings, own the operations or the numbers, make decisions, and back up the team you already have.

  • Ongoing retainerA set number of days each month, with a standing weekly slot.
  • Project or interimCover a gap, lead a transition, or see a big initiative through.
  • Advisory hoursAn outside sounding board for the week a decision gets stuck.

  • Vendor, hiring, and capacity planning
  • Accountability across teams
  • Getting knowledge out of one person's head

CEO

Interim CEO

Leadership while you search, transition, or scale.

  • Strategy and priorities
  • Deals, partners, and negotiations
  • Board and stakeholder communication
  • A clean handover to a permanent leader

CFO

Fractional CFO

A finance leader who owns the numbers and the plan.

  • Cash and runway planning
  • Budgets, forecasts, and board reporting
  • Lender and investor updates
  • Oversight of your finance team and systems

04How we work

From first call to first result.

No long onboarding. Here is what the first few weeks look like.

  1. 01

    First conversation

Tell us what's going wrong before you tell us what you want. We start with the problem. The goal usually gets clearer from there.

  2. 02

    Review

We go through how the business runs: the people, the tools, the numbers, and how work moves between them. You get a clear picture of what's broken and what's working.

  3. 03

    Proposal

A written scope with a price and a timeline. You'll know what you're agreeing to before anything starts.

  4. 04

    Engagement

We work with your team directly. One point of contact, regular check-ins, and documentation you keep.

Some clients stay on a retainer. Others hand off after the project and call when something new comes up.

05Finance and systems

When the numbers need attention.

Finance is one part of the work, and sometimes it's the part that needs attention first. A common story: a company buys an expensive platform, half the features go unused, and the real numbers still live in a spreadsheet. We start with how the business runs, then select and configure tools to match.

  1. Map the moneyWe trace how revenue, invoices, and payments move through the business today.
  2. Choose the toolsA short list, with reasons. If what you already own is good enough, we'll say so.
  3. Build it properlyChart of accounts, workflows, approvals, and the integrations between your apps.
  4. Move over cleanlyHistorical data comes across, and old and new run side by side until the numbers agree.
  5. Train and stay closeYour team learns on real work, and we're around for the first few closes.

06Expert letters and documents

Independent letters and organized paperwork.

Some goals need paper behind them. We provide independent expert letters and help get your documents in order. We don't give legal advice, and we can't predict how an agency will decide.

Independent expert letters

Letters from recognized professionals who review your work and write about it in their own words.

  • Written by recognized professionals in engineering, IT, cybersecurity, finance, and business
  • Independent, credible endorsements based on your actual achievements
  • Support that strengthens the rest of your portfolio
  • Delivered quickly and kept confidential

Document preparation

Much of the work behind a petition, a loan, or a business plan is organizing what you already have.

  • Business plans
  • Financial analysis
  • Administrative support
  • Document organization for EB-1 and other employment-based self-petitions, without legal advice

NaN Consulting does not provide legal advice. Questions about eligibility or strategy belong with your attorney.

08Questions

Common questions.

Don't see yours? Email us and we'll reply within one business day.

What does fractional mean?

You get a COO, CEO, or CFO for a fixed number of days each week or month instead of full time. The responsibilities are real. The bill is smaller.

What kind of companies do you work with?

Owner-led and growing companies, from early-stage to established, that have outgrown how they currently run. If you're not sure you fit, send us a note and we'll tell you.

How is pricing set?

We scope the work first, then quote it. Ongoing work is usually a monthly retainer, and projects are priced up front so you know the number before we start.

Can you work with our accountant or attorney?

Yes, and it usually helps. Clean books and a clear structure make their work faster. We'll talk to them directly if you'd like.

Do you only work with companies in Florida?

No. We're based in Miramar, but most of the work happens remotely, so where you are doesn't matter much.

Do you provide legal advice?

No. Our document work is organizational and administrative. For legal questions, including eligibility and strategy for a petition, you will need an attorney.

How fast will I hear back?

Within one business day.
